There are numerous way to re-using existing form content to create new forms. Forms can be copied and then amended, but 2 special features, blueprints and snippets allow for administrators to create a library of approved content for re-use.
Blueprints
A Blueprint is a general Form that you can then use as the basis for creating new public or private Forms. Blueprints are created by right-clicking on a Form in the Forms explorer and selecting the "Create a blueprint using" option from the context menu. The Form will be opened in the Forms Designer so you can make any required changes before saving it as a Blueprint using the Save this blueprint option in the Actions panel. To use a Blueprint, right-click on the Blueprint in the Forms Explorer and select the "Create a form using" option from the context menu. A copy of the Blueprint will be loaded into the Forms Designer ready for further modification and you can then save it as you would normally. via the "Save this form" option in the "Actions" panel.
Snippets
A Snippet is a Container or a Page that you can save and then copy into other Forms that you create. Snippets are created within the Forms Designer by right-clicking on a Page tab or Container on the Design tab and selecting the "Save this.. as a Snippet" option from the context menu. To use a Snippet within the Forms Designer, drag the snippet onto your form design (Design tab) from the Field Types section of the right hand panel. A copy of the Snippet will be inserted on to your form. Please be aware that no relationship with the original Snippet is maintained and so future changes to the Snippet will not affect any forms in which you have copied it.
