Pre-training day checks
Log in and confirm that a user can add, edit and delete an article (including a heading, article introduction, and some article text. Make sure that you can view the tab and WYSIWYG editors). Contact your project administrator or GOSS technical support if you are unable to carry out this task.
If the site is being accessed via a proxy server, ensure that the URL for iCM is passed as an exception, so that the correct dynamic pages will be served to the user.
Consideration for the user permissions for those taking part in the training could have a major impact on the above as already mentioned. Please consider non-admin privileged users.
- For some courses, remote access MUST be provided to ensure that the server is ready prior to the training being carried out.
- If any of the pre-training day checks are not carried out - it may result in a delayed start to the training or indeed the cancellation or rescheduling of the training which may incur additional costs.
