Adam Easterbrook

IT Trainer and Implementation Consultant

How long have you been at GOSS?: I started with GOSS in July 2020, a bit strange starting a new job during national lockdown but everyone was friendly and I settled in really quickly.

What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Training Team at GOSS: I do like to talk so I enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them. In the training team I need to know about all of our products functionality, and I get to work with all of our clients so I have a varied role meeting lots of people.

What has been your greatest achievement so far at GOSS: Before I joined in July 2020 the training team had to quickly develop the on-site training modules so they were deliverable online. I carried on with this process, reviewed our existing training modules, identified ways to improve our existing modules, including rewriting some of them, and created a new module for Articles (Articles - Templates and Extras). The forms courses have been updated to be delivered in a way that is consistent with GDS standards, and the articles training has been updated to three 2 hour sessions. Each session is now more concise and consists of topics that weren't previously included in training.

If you could become any animal, which animal would it be?: I used to have a different answer to this but since becoming a parent I just want to sleep, so I'm going for a cat or a sloth!

Favourite motto/quote?: "It's unlucky to be superstitious"

What is your guilty pleasure?: Doritos and Dips. I can demolish a large packet in no time at all

Who would play you in a movie about your life?: Rowan Atkinson, he can perfectly portray how clumsy I can be.

What's the best thing about working at GOSS?: Positive attitude of the company, and that I enjoy my job and it is clear that my colleagues do too.
