Chiltern District Council selects GOSS as partner of choice to deliver new website
To increase online engagement with its residents, business and visitors, Chiltern District Council has awarded the contract to create its new website to GOSS Interactive.
Serving customers online can be over 80% more efficient than serving them by phone or face-to-face; delivering this channel shift will save the Council money.
Following a detailed tender process, Chiltern District Council selected GOSS Interactive to supply a full suite of technology and services to support their website and channel shift strategy. The new website is expected to go live in Spring 2012.
GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management) will give the Council all the tools needed to manage a customer centric and engaging web presence using the comprehensive out-of-the-box functionality and templates that come as standard with GOSS iCM.
Councillor Mimi Harker, Cabinet Member for communications said: "We were very impressed by the detailed offering from GOSS Interactive and are confident that they will help us deliver a more engaging and efficient website, intranet and sub-sites. The industry expertise that GOSS bring has already been invaluable and we look forward to a long working partnership."
Rob McCarthy, CEO, GOSS Interactive, adds "We are looking forward to working in partnership with Chiltern District Council to help them make the most of their GOSS solution by creating significant efficiency savings and ultimately engaging more citizens online."
