.NET CMS

Microsoft .NET websites can be deployed using our Web Content Management.

GOSS have a robust Web Content Management solution that lets Microsoft .NET developers make the most of their skills. Access to .NET templates allows the tight integration with other .NET based systems and the solution can be run on Microsoft operating systems and server software.

Control your templates

Access is available to the API of over 20 templates that can be adapted as required, or create your own as needed.

The majority of templates are shared with the Open Source GOSS community. Full technical training can be given, backed-up with comprehensive documentation and support.

Make the most of your existing software

Many organisations have numerous complex .NET based systems. Our .NET templates allow .NET developers to create integrations with these systems. This way, developer teams can produce two-way interactions with users via the web. And if you need help, our expert team of .NET developers are on hand to assist.

We even have a SharePoint connector ready made to install. This allows SharePoint users to publish to a GOSS iCM website without having to access GOSS iCM. This controls your costs and open web publishing with document management to more content contributors.

Join a growing community

Within the GOSS community you can share web delivery best practice with other .NET experts and join in our Developer Webinars. Held every 3 month, our Developer Webinars are open discussions along a pre-defined agenda where we showcase best practice. We also record the webinars so that you can review them as required. Visit our community introduction.

If you want to streamline your online service delivery further, our Forms Designer will let you create powerful multi-page forms with client side validation. Form branching further increases the usability of forms and data can be exported in a number of ways for further processing in backend systems. And the Open Source community is involved here too, with our Forms Club, where other users share their forms.

Client testimonials

"We wanted to move to a new platform to future-proof ourselves and take advantage of the features, flexibility and cost savings offered by a fully developed product such as GOSS iCM. The underlying GOSS architecture lends itself well to our internal use of the .NET development framework and will allow us to use existing skills to develop and deploy multiple services and information to our website and intranet. John Paul McKay, Project Manager (IT Systems), East Renfrewshire Council

"We selected GOSS iCM based on three key criteria: its ease of use; its ability for extensible .NET programming; and the ability to develop our own templates and designs. The fact that it comes with full Web 2.0 features, powerful workflow, accessibility validators and a strong, active client user base are added benefits." Roger Abbott, Web and Publishing Team Leader, South Tyneside Council

"Whether you're proficient only in basic website design or have a background in creating complex .NET applications, GOSS' technology creates a platform that can be customised and built upon at many different levels depending on one's aptitude." Phil Rumens, Web Development Manager, West Berkshire Council
