GOSS have a robust Web Content Management solution that lets Java developers easily control their website. Access to Java templates allows the tight integration with other Java based systems. The operating systems, database and web servers required are all Open Source deployments.
Control your costs
To take advantage of a solution built on the best Open Source has to offer, all you need is a licence for GOSS iCM (intelligent content management) and GOSS will provide the following:
- Operating systems - any Linux based system can be used such as Debian.
- Database server - PostgreSQL or similar can be used.
- Web server - templates will run in any standards compliant Java Servlet container such as Apache Tomcat.
Control your templates
Access is available to the API of over 20 templates that can be adapted as required, or create your own as needed. The majority of templates are shared with the Open Source GOSS community. Full technical training can be given, backed-up with comprehensive documentation and support.

Make the most of your existing software
Many organisations have numerous complex Java based systems. Our Java solution allows you to develop integrations with these systems. This way, developer teams can produce two-way interactions with users via the web. If you need help, our expert team of Java developers are on hand to assist.
Templates will run in any standards compliant Java Servlet container capable of running JavaServer Faces (JSF) v1.2 and above. This includes most popular Java web application servers such as Tomcat, Glassfish, Jetty, Oracle WebLogic and Lotus Notes.
Join a growing community
Join in with the GOSS community to share web delivery best practice with other Java experts as well as the opportunity to take part in our Developer Webinars. Held every 3 month, these webinars are open discussions along a pre-defined agenda where we showcase best practice. We also record the webinars so that you can review them as required. Visit our community introduction.
If you want to streamline your online service delivery further, our Forms Designer will let you create powerful multi-page forms with client side validation. Form branching further increases the usability of forms and data can be exported in a number of ways for further processing in backend systems. The Open Source GOSS community is involved here too, with our "GOSS Forms Club", where other members of the community share their forms and best practice experience.
