"Tweet" from your Web Content Management system..
The Twitter Plugin provides an automated 'tweeting' system that publishes a Twitter message after the creation of a new article, or after a significant change to an existing article.
GOSS iCM users can add a short message (tweet) to their article that can be moderated and approved as part of the same creation process. Once the article has been approved and/or denoted as a significant change, the message will immediately be sent to a Twitter account associated with the subsite, and will include a trackable hyperlink (goo.gl link) back to the article. Up to 120 characters are allowed to be entered into the text box, the remainder are used for the shortened url link. After each tweet is sent the twitter field is cleared, although the content remains in the article history, therefore if a page is submitted or changed several times consequent Tweets are not sent un-intentionally. Users can add new tweets at any time or view past tweets.
