Socitm, the Society of IT Managers in the public sector, publish the annual GOSS clients score highly in Socitm Better Connected 2012 into the quality and performance of 433 local authority websites.
Craven District Council, who have moved their website to be powered by GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management), were mentioned by the reviewers for their ease of objecting to planning applications, "
One of the best online comment forms I've seen - not only is the form pre-populated, but there is a link to commenting guidance and a note that comments will be made public, all from within the form itself."
The reviews also praised and the ability for residents to pay for council tax
"The council tax home page is clearly set out, and it's easy enough to see what information and services are here."
