To complete this exercise, you will need to have access to the source material contained in the zip folder. This exercise uses the Tab editor.
Access iCM directly using your usual URL.
Log in to iCM using your username and password and you should see the iCM Homepage
Select iCM Explorer or Start Work from the Actions panel on the left-hand side.
Expand Content. Depending on the iCM version this can be completed by clicking on the + next to the icon or the ► icon.
Double-click or right-click then choose select Articles 'to move into the Articles section.
Expand the article tree to display the child articles of the Common recyclables article created in Exercise 2.
Select the child articles under Common recyclables using Ctrl+Click
Select Edit these articles to bring these articles into the article grid.
Select all of the articles in the grid using Ctrl+Click, then right-click one of the selected articles.
Hover over Edit then move the mouse over to the pop-up menu to the right and select Owner to change the iCM User that is responsible for the article.
Select a different user and note the red triangles displayed over the Owner indicating a change has been made.
Look at each of the other options under Edit choosing Cancel to close each pop-up then click Submit these articles from the Actions panel on the left-hand side, adding a comment in the Version Control box if necessary.
Click the option at the top of iCM to return to the iCM Home page and move onto the next exercise, or if you have finished working in iCM, click at the top of iCM to logout then close the browser window.
