SOCITM is using a section of the site to run an exercise in photosharing through Flickr. The subject is the SOCITM 2008 conference taking place 12-14 October in Newport.
Thanks to sponsorship from GOSS Interactive, there is a photo competition at the event. Delegates are invited to take photos and upload them to SOCITM's Flickr page. The competition will open on Monday 13 October and will stay open for a week after the event. We hope lots of you will enter!!
The competition will be judged by a panel of from SOCITM and GOSS Interactive, and the best images will be awarded prizes (digital cameras). Winners will be announced a few days after the event closes.
You'll be able to view the prizes on offer at GOSS Interactive's stand at SOCITM 2008 (no 19) at the event, and after the event on this page.

Anyone can view pictures from SOCITM 2008 once they start to be uploaded to the Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/groups/socitm2008/pool/. They are also pulling through the most recent pictures onto the photo page of the SOCITM web 2 site as the competition progresses.
Get involved
If you attended the event and want to upload your pictures or comment on other people's you'll need to sign up with Flickr and join the SOCITM 2008 space (its really easy). Then you just follow the instructions, please allow for a short delay before your picture is added to the site due to Flickr account moderation.
