Accolades for GOSS customers at national awardsTwo Local Authorities from the UK, managing web content with GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management), have been recognised at this year's Good Communications Awards.![]() Both Broxtowe Borough Council and London Borough of Hillingdon have been shortlisted in the IT & e-government category for Local Authority website of the year with Hillingdon having the extra compliment of also being shortlisted for the Website Accessibility Award and Local Authority of the year award. Now in its fifth year, the Awards aim to promote and encourage the public sector's efforts towards effective communication with its citizens and its workforce. When delivering services online, Hillingdon's strategy has been focused on local residents. By putting the customer at the centre of service delivery, Hillingdon Council has been able to provide wider access to council services and expand and improve self-service facilities. This also reaffirms the council's commitment to provide more efficient means of contact for residents to reinvigorating its transformation programme. London Borough of Hillingdon has already scooped a bronze award at the LG Communications Reputation Award ceremony in the Digital Media category this year, whilst Nottingham City Council, also a customer of GOSS Interactive, received the silver award in the same category.
