What is ISO 9001:2008?

ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management standard. It applies to all types of organisations. It doesn't matter what size they are or what they do. It can helps both product and service oriented organizations achieve standards of quality that are recognised and respected throughout the world.

ISO 9001:2008 is an international standard that gives requirements for an organisation's Quality Management System ("QMS"). It is part of a family of standards published by the International Organisation for Standardisation ("ISO") often referred to collectively as the "ISO 9000 series".
