Metadata Search - Home Vocabulary/Key Word Search

Our Metadata Search module is an extension of the Verity natural language search engine used within our content management system iCM.

Most organisations have their own specific vocabulary and taxonomies that they tag across their site in the form of metadata. In the public sector it is the Integrated Public Sector Vocabulary (IPSV). The Metadata Search can be channelled to only run against the metadata within the site, increasing its speed and accuracy.

As you originally assigned the Metadata you have a direct control over the content your search engine returns. Improving your site search facility allows your site visitors better access to the valuable information contained within your site. This module raises productivity and streamlines working as well as supporting compliance to metadata standards reinforcing the work done by the e-Government Metadata Standards (EGMS) body.
